Teru Sugawara signs at Alphas

Koshigaya Alphas (B1 League) signed 28-year-old 183cm point guard Teru Sugawara for the upcoming season. He is a familiar face in the Japanese B1 League, having most recently played for Akita Northern Happinets. In 54 B1 League games last season, he averaged 3.8ppg, 1.2rpg, and 2.7apg. Prior to that, he spent four seasons (2021-25) playing for Thunders in Japan.
He has played previously for B Corsairs.
