B Corsairs keep Kotsar for another season

Yokohama B-Corsairs (B1 League) re-signed 29-year old Estonian international 210cm center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (college: S.Carolina, agency: Slash Sports) for the upcoming season. He has played there for the last two seasons.
He has also been a member of the Estonian international program for some years. Kotsar has regularly played for the Estonian senior team since 2018 and previously for the University National Team back in 2015.
He also represented Estonia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 15.2 points per game and had 6.5 rebounds per game.
Kotsar has played professionally between Germany (Hamburg Towers) and Spain (Baskonia).
In 2023, his team finished as the regular season runner-up in the Spanish Liga Endesa. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention in 2023.
Kotsar graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2020, and this will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
