Thunders keep Flippin for another season

Gunma Crane Thunders (B1 League) re-signed 30-year-old former Japanese-American international 188cm guard Koh Flippin (college: Doane) for the upcoming season. He has played there for the last three seasons. He was a member of the Japanese Senior National Team between 2019 and 2022.
Flippin has played for two other teams before: Jets and Golden Kings.
Between 2019 and 2023, he received many awards, including being voted to All-GPAC Honorable Mention in 2019 and making it to the Japanese Cup final with his college team in 2023.
Flippin graduated from Doane College in 2019 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. He played also for University of California Riverside for 3 years.
