Namur signs Lore Devos, ex Hitachi Cougars

Lore Devos

Basket Namur Capitale (Top Division Women) t26-year old Belgian ex-international 185cm forward Lore Devos (college: Colorado State, agency: LBM Management). She started the season at Hitachi Cougars in Japanese WJBL2 which just finished and her team won the championship. The last season season she played at Haukar in Icelandic Subway League where in 35 games she averaged impressive 23.0ppg, 10.0rpg, 3.4apg and 2.4spg. She helped them to win the Icelandic League title. Devos can count that season as a very successful as was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Bosman Player of the Year, Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Defensive Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Player of the Year.
She was also a member of the Belgian international program for some years. Devos played for Belgian Senior National Team in 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2017.
She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Devos is familiar with European, Australian and of course North American leagues. She has played professionally in Australia (Tornadoes), Iceland (Thor AK Akureyri), Switzerland (Fribourg) and Belgium (Royal Braine).
Devos graduated from Colorado State in 2021 and it is her fifth season in pro basketball.
