20-year old Nigerian center Jessica Wariebimo (188-C-2005) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Toyota Boshoku Sunshine Rabbits and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
She had a double-double of 25 points and 19 rebounds, while her team beat Chanson V-M (#6, 11-15) 86-79. Sunshine R. maintains the 4th position in Japanese WJBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sunshine R. will need more victories to improve their 15-11 record. Wariebimo has many years of experience at Sunshine R., through which she has constantly improved. Wariebimo has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (8th best: 12.0ppg), rebounds (4th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 51.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ashten Prechtel (196-F/C-2001) of Eneos Sunflowers. She is American forward in her first season at Eneos S.. In the last game Prechtel recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds. Of course she led Eneos S. to another comfortable win 83-65 over the lower-ranked Haneda V. (#8, 2-24) being unquestionably team leader. Eneos S.'s 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 13-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Prechtel is a newcomer at Eneos S. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.0ppg (#7). She also registered 8.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Sunshine R.'s star - forward Moeko Nagaoka (183-F-1993). Nagaoka showcased her all-around game by recording 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Toyota Boshoku Sunshine Rabbits, helping her team with a 86-79 win against slightly lower-ranked Chanson V-M (#6, 11-15). Sunshine R. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 11 lost games. Nagaoka has a great season in Japan. After 26 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.7apg (9th best).
