Becker's 22 points and 8 rebounds give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old Canadian forward Niyah Becker (188-F-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for Aishin AW Wings and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
She had the game-high 22 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Aishin AW in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Chanson V-M (#6, 8-12) 71-68. Aishin AW maintains the 7th position in Japanese WJBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 14 games and recorded just six victories. It was one of impressive evenings for Becker as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Niyah Becker averages this season 11.7ppg and 6.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Channon Fluker (193-C-1997) of Oda Haneda Vickies. She is American center in her first season at Haneda V.. In the last game Fluker recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Haneda V. lost that game 62-72 to the higher-ranked Denso I. (#2, 15-5). Haneda V. are still at the very bottom. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Haneda V. managed to get this year. Fluker is a newcomer at Haneda V. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.4ppg (#3). She also registered 9.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Marvelous Nwoko (183-F/C-2001) of Chanson V-Magic (#6). Nwoko scored 9 points and grabbed 20 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Chanson V-M, leading her team to a 70-66 win against slightly lower-ranked Aishin AW (#7, 6-14). The chances of Chanson V-M ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Nwoko could help Chanson V-M to bring them higher in the standings. Nwoko has a great season in Japan. After 20 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 11.8ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 10.7rpg (2nd best). She also has 2.1spg and 1.1bpg.
