Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most important game in the last round took place in Kariya between second ranked Denso I. (9-3) and seventh ranked Aishin AW (2-10) on Sunday night. Denso I. was defeated by Aishin AW in a tough game at home 53-57. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Denso I.. 24 personal fouls committed by Denso I. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for who led her team to a victory with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-1991) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Akaho Himawari replied with 13 points and 7 rebounds for Denso I.Denso I.'s coach Vladimir Vuksanovic tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Aishin AW maintains seventh position with 2-10 record. Denso I. at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. Aishin AW are looking forward to face higher ranked Sunshine R. (#3) in Aichi in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Denso I. will play on the road against the league's leader Toyota A. where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 6: Aishin AW was smashed by Denso I. on the road 79-54. Eneos S. destroyed Haneda V. on its own court 72-42. Sunshine R. managed to outperform Chanson V-M in Aichi 77-67. Eneos S. managed to beat Haneda V. at home 77-71. Sunshine R. defeated Chanson V-M on the opponent's court 77-61.
The most impressive performance of 6th round was 22 points and 16 rebounds by Jessica Wariebimo of Sunshine R..

Denso I. - Aishin AW 79-54

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Denso I. (9-3) crushed 7th ranked Aishin AW (2-10) in Kariya 79-54 on Saturday. Denso I. dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Aishin AW's 22. They outrebounded Aishin AW 41-25 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Akaho Himawari notched 10 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Maki Takada supported her with 14 points. Four Denso I. players scored in double figures. Even 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by the former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-1991) did not help to save the game for Aishin AW. American forward Amira Collins (190-2000, college: NC State, agency: LBM Management) added 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Denso I. have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-3 record having just two points less than leader Toyota A. Aishin AW lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with ten games lost. Denso I. will meet league's leader Toyota A. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aishin AW will play against Sunshine R. (#3) and hope to secure a win.

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Haneda V. (1-11) was smashed by fifth ranked Eneos S. (6-6) in Kashiwa 72-42 on Saturday. Eneos S. held Haneda V. to an opponent 22.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.6 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Haneda V. 51-35 including a 39-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Evelyn Mawuli notched 19 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and American power forward Ashten Prechtel (196-2001, college: Stanford) supported her with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Even 8 points and 5 rebounds by Shin Okada did not help to save the game for Haneda V.. added 5 points and 4 assists. Sunshine R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Jessica Wariebimo notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Moeko Nagaoka supported her with 13 points and 10 assists. Four Sunshine R. players scored in double figures. Even 22 points by Minami Shirasaki did not help to save the game for Chanson V-M. American power forward Ashten Prechtel (196-2001, college: Stanford) added 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sunshine R. moved-up to third place. Chanson V-M lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Sunshine R. will meet Aishin AW (#7) in the next round.
