International Shooting guard Saori Miyazaki (167-SG-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Eneos Sunflowers and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 30-year old shooting guard got a double-double of 32 points and 12 assists, while her team crushed Sunshine R. (#4, 6-4) with 17-point margin 108-91. Eneos S. is placed at 5th position in Japanese WJBL. Eneos S. is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-6 record. In the team's last game Miyazaki had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. She has many years of experience at Eneos S., through which she has constantly improved. Miyazaki has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 5.9apg) and averages solid 2.1spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-F/C-1991) of Aishin AW Wings. Tokashiki impressed basketball fans with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Aishin AW lost that game 53-65 to the higher-ranked Toyota A. (#1, 9-1). Aishin AW managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Aishin AW managed to get this year. Tokashiki is well-known by Aishin AW fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.6ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 6.4rpg and 3.2apg.

The third best performed player last round was Riho Akagi (167-PG-1998) of Fujitsu Red Wave (#3). Akagi scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. She was a key player of Fujitsu RW, leading her team to a 77-60 easy win against the lower-ranked Haneda V. (#8, 1-9). Fujitsu RW needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 3 lost games. Akagi has a very solid season. In 10 games in Japan she scored 8.9ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
