Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Leader Toyota A. delivered the ninth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Aishin AW (1-9) 68-49 in Anjo. Toyota A. outrebounded Aishin AW 43-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. chipped in 10 points and 11 rebounds. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-1991) produced 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyota A. (9-1) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place. Aishin AW lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Haneda V.. Toyota A. are looking forward to face Fujitsu RW (#3) in Kawasaki in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Aishin AW will play on the road against the league's second-placed Denso I. (#2) in Kariya and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.

Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Toyota A.. They maintain first place with 9-1 record. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Fujitsu RW. Defending champion maintains third place with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Toyota A. Haneda V. lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. They share it with Aishin AW. Fujitsu RW will meet at home league's leader Toyota A. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Haneda V. will play against Eneos S. (#5) in Kashiwa and hope to win that game.

Other games of round 5 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Eneos S. was defeated by Sunshine R. in Aichi 64-60. Denso I. beat Chanson V-M at home 69-61. Eneos S. won against Sunshine R. on the opponent's court 108-91. Denso I. managed to outperform Chanson V-M in a home game 56-43. Fujitsu RW managed to beat Haneda V. on the road 77-60.
The best stats of 5th round was 21 points and 5 rebounds by Riho Akagi of Fujitsu RW.

Sunshine R. - Eneos S. 64-60

There was no surprise in Aichi where 6th ranked Eneos S. (4-6) was defeated by fourth ranked Sunshine R. (6-4) 64-60 on Saturday. Nanami Tsuno stepped up and scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and Jessica Wariebimo chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Five Sunshine R. players scored in double figures. Saori Miyazaki responded with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Kadysha Umezawa scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Sunshine R.. They maintain fourth place with 6-4 record. Eneos S. lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Chanson V-M. Sunshine R. will meet Chanson V-M (#6) in the next round. Eneos S. will play against Haneda V. and hope to secure a win.

Fujitsu RW dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Haneda V.'s 28. Fujitsu RW forced 23 Haneda V. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Mfon Joshua stepped up and scored 19 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and Kiho Miyashita chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds.
