WJBL Round 4 (Regular Season): No surprise as #1 Toyota A. defeat Chanson V-M

WJBL top team - Toyota A. (7-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Chanson V-M (4-4) in Shizuoka 68-58. Worth to mention a quality performance of who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 22 rebounds and the former international point guard Mai Yamamoto (163-1999) who added 16 points during the contest. At the losing side Yurika Sato responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyota A. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Chanson V-M at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Toyota A. are looking forward to face Aishin AW (#7) in Anjo in the next round where they are favorite. There were no shocking results in the other games in round 4: Aishin AW was destroyed by Fujitsu RW on the opponent's court 85-59. Eneos S. was outscored by Denso I. in a home game 65-93. Sunshine R. managed to beat Haneda V. on the road 62-57. Fujitsu RW defeated Aishin AW on its own court 72-58. Denso I. smashed Eneos S. in Kariya 81-51.
