WJBL Round 3 (Regular Season): Toyota A. defeat Eneos S. in the game between Top 4 teams

There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of WJBL and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

An interesting game for Toyota A. (5-1) which played road game in Kashiwa against Eneos S. (3-3). Toyota A. managed to get a 11-point victory 72-61. It was a good game for who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Ashten Prechtel (196-2001, college: Stanford) answered with 11 points and 6 rebounds for Eneos S.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyota A. are looking forward to face Chanson V-M in Shizuoka in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Eneos S. will play at home against Denso I. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eneos S. will play at home against Denso I. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Aichi was also quite interesting. Fujitsu RW (3-3) played at the court of Sunshine R. (3-3). Fujitsu RW managed to secure a 9-point victory 82-73 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for Rui Machida who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Nanako Todo came up with 16 points and 4 assists for Sunshine R. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fujitsu RW will meet at home Aishin AW (#7) in the next round. Sunshine R. will play against Haneda V. in Tokyo and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: bottom-ranked Haneda V. was beaten by Denso I. on the road 82-66. Chanson V-M won against Aishin AW on its own court 70-60. Bottom-ranked Haneda V. unfortunately lost to Denso I. in Kariya 50-65. Chanson V-M managed to beat Aishin AW at home 80-64. Fujitsu RW was defeated by Sunshine R. on the opponent's court 77-71.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 13 points and 9 assists by Nanami Tsuno of Sunshine R..
