Fujitsu Red Wave (WJBL) re-signed 26-year-old Nigerian 190cm center Mfon Joshua for the new season. She has played there for the last three seasons. She helped them win the League title. Joshua can count that season as very successful as she was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese W League Import Player of the Year, voted to All-Defensive Team, and selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese W League Second Team.
