Lore Devos signs with Hitachi Cougars

Hitachi Hi-Tech Cougars (WJBL2) strengthened their roster with the addition of 26-year-old Belgian ex-international 185cm forward Lore Devos (college: Colorado State, agency: LBM Management) for the 2025-26 season. She was the top scorer at Haukar in the Icelandic Subway League last season, where in 35 games she recorded very impressive stats: 23.0ppg, 10.0rpg, 3.4apg, and 2.4spg. She helped them win the League title and was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Bosman Player of the Year, Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Defensive Player of the Year, and Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Player of the Year. The previous (2024) summer, she played at Tornadoes (NBL One) in the Australian league. Devos also played 15 games in the Australian NBL One, where she averaged a remarkable 16.7ppg, 10.0rpg, 2.9apg, and 2.3spg in the 2024 year.
She was also a member of the Belgian international program for some years. Devos played for Belgian Senior National Team in 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2017.
She is a very experienced player. Thanks to her pro career, she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia, and North America) in four different countries. Devos has played professionally in Australia, Switzerland (Fribourg), and Belgium (Royal Braine).
She graduated from Colorado State in 2021 and it'll be her fifth season in pro basketball.
