Sylla re-signs at Denso Iris

Sokhna Sylla

Denso Iris (WJBL) confirmed in their roster 28-year old Senegalese international center Sokhna Sylla (200cm-1997) for the new 2025-26 season. She played there last season. In 26 WJBL games, she had 4.8ppg and 3.3rpg. She helped them to make it to the Japanese League final after they ended the regular season as the second-best team. For the four previous seasons (2020-24), she played at another Japanese team Toyota Antelopes.
Sylla has played ppg in Spain (Zamora) and ppg in Senegal (Saint Louis Basket Club).
Sylla's team won the Japanese WJBL Regular Season in 2022, and she was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese WJBL Honorable Mention in 2022.
