Hapoel Holon (Winner League) added to their roster 29-year old American center Hassan Martin (203cm-104kg-1995, college: URI) for season 2025-26. Martin played most recently at Shimane Susanoo Magic in Japanese B1 League. In 43 games he recorded 6.0ppg and 4.0rpg in 2023-24 year.
He was voted to Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team back in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Crvena zvezda in Serbian KLS. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In two Serbian KLS games he averaged 5.0ppg in that year. Martin's team won the league title. He also played 23 games in Euroleague where he had 4.9ppg and 3.0rpg in that year. He also played 26 games in ABA League where he got 5.3ppg and 2.9rpg in that year.
Martin is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in four different countries. He has played previously professionally also in Germany (Bayreuth), Greece (Olympiacos) and Montenegro (Buducnost).
Martin graduated from University of Rhode Island in 2017 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player. He was selected to Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team back in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
