Hungary win Group C of the World University Games

Hungary have won Group C of the World University Games as they finished the Group Stage with a 3-0 record. They overcame Japan 79-71 as the latter advanced to the Quarterfinals with a 2-1 record.
Hungary got off a string start and posted two wins in the first two quarters. They led 16 points at the halftime, whilst Japan reduced the gap after two narrow wins in the second half.
Zsuzsanna Sitku (195-F-2003) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Panka Dul (179-G-2000) notched 13. Azusa Asahina (185-C-2003) replied with 19 points in the losing effort.
