Japan defended their title of the William Jones Cup as they dominated 2025 year. Japan won the tournament with a 4-1 record despite the loss in the last game against Republic of China, 79-89. Suzuno Higuchi was named MVP. She nailed 13 points in the last game, whilst Mona Tateyama (177-SF-2002) and Haru Owaki (177-PF-2004) top-scored with 14 points each. Sidney Cooks (193-F/C-1998, college: Seton Hall) top-scored for the winners with 26 points.
