American Victor Law (201-F-1995, agency: Pensack Sports) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 49.
The 29-year old forward had a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Hokkaido L. (#5, 18-31) 72-64. It allowed Golden Kings to consolidate first place in the Japanese B1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ryukyu has a very solid 36-13 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Law had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Golden Kings and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Victor Law averages this season 16.4ppg and 8.5rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Charles Jackson (208-C-1993) of Kyoto Hannaryz. Jackson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Kyoto H. was edged by slightly higher-ranked Osaka E. (25-24) 95-94. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in West. Kyoto H. still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 25-24 record is not bad at all. Jackson is well-known by Kyoto H. fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Aaron Henry (198-F-1999, agency: Diamond Sports) of Toyotsu Fighting Eagles Nagoya (#6). Henry showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Fighting Eagles, leading his team to a 82-73 win against slightly lower-ranked Kawasaki BT (#8, 14-35). The chances of FE Nagoya ranking at the top of Central, however are very questionable as they have already lost 26 games, recording just twenty three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Henry could help FE Nagoya to bring them higher in the standings. Henry has a great season in Japan. After 40 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.2ppg (2nd best). He also has 2.6spg and a FGP of 53.7%.

4. Dwayne Evans (201-F-1992) of Hiroshima D. - 26 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Angelo Caloiaro (203-F-1989) of Kyoto H. - 19 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
