Denso Iris nipped Fujitsu to draw things even in the championship series. The international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-1995) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Maki Takada (185-1989) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Point guard Riho Akagi (167-1998) responded with 21 points and Nigerian center Mfon Joshua (190-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Fujitsu RW players scored in double figures.
