The former international Minami Shirasaki (166-1996) stepped up and scored 20 points and 4 assists for the winners and the former international center Izoje Uche (188-2004) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Chanson V-M players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-1995) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international center Maki Takada (185-1989) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Fujitsu RW dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Eneos S.'s 22. They outrebounded Eneos S. 53-33 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fujitsu RW players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The former international point guard Rui Machida (162-1993) nailed a triple-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and Nigerian center Mfon Joshua (190-1999) accounted for 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Saori Miyazaki (167-1995) came up with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Hoshi Hoshi (171-2000) added 21 points respectively for Eneos S. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
