Gudaitis is back at Rytas, ex Alvark Tokyo

Arturas Gudaitis

Defending champion BC Rytas Vilnius (LKL) agreed terms with 31-year old Lithuanian ex-international center Arturas Gudaitis (211cm-116kg-1993). It is actually his comeback to Vilnius as he has played here before. He started the season at Alvark Tokyo in Japanese B1 League. In 28 games he had 7.9ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.1apg.
In 2015 he was drafted by Philadelphia 76ers (NBA) in second round (47th overall).
He was also a member of the Lithuanian international program for some years. Gudaitis played for Lithuanian Senior National Team between 2014 and 2018 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2012.
He also represented Lithuania at the FIBA World Cup 2019 Qualifiers six years ago. During this event he scored an average of 7.5 points per game and had 6.8 rebounds per game.
Gudaitis is quite experienced player. He has played also in Greece (Panathinaikos), Italy (Armani Milano and Napoli), Japan, Russia (Zenit) and Lithuania (Zalgiris, Gargzdai and Klaipedos LCC Tarptautinis Universitetas).
Among many awards his team won Japanese B League East Division Regular Season in 2024. Gudaitis was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A Honorable Mention back in 2018.
