International Power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-F/C-1991) put on an amazing game in the last round for Aishin AW Wings, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds, while her team in a lost game to Hitachi Cougars (#8, 4-20) 63-68. Aishin AW moved-up to the 7th position in Japanese WJBL. Aishin AW is currently ranked second from the bottom. But it was their 16th lost game this season out of 25 games. Tokashiki turned to be Aishin AW's top player in her first season with the team. Ramu Tokashiki has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 14.9ppg), rebounds (4th best: 7.8rpg), assists (8th best: 3.6apg) and averages impressive 1.4bpg and 52.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Aishin AW's star - young Sayaka Okamoto (161-G-1991). Okamoto had a very good evening with 18 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course together with Tokashiki she helped Aishin AW Wings with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Hitachi Cougars (#8, 4-20) 79-54. Despite this victory Aishin AW slide down in the standings to 7th position. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-16 record. Okamoto is a newcomer at Aishin AW and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Shiori Yasuma (161-PG-1994) of Toyota Antelopes (#6). Yasuma scored 24 points and passed 5 assists. She was a key player of Toyota A., leading her team to a 77-45 easy win against the higher-ranked Chanson V-M (#3, 14-10). The chances of Toyota A. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 15 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Yasuma could try to bring Toyota A.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Yasuma has individually a great season in Japan. After 24 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.3apg (3rd best).

9. Nanako Todo (175-SG-2000) of Toyota BSR - 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Mai Yoshida (175-G/F-1998) of Chanson V-M - 20 points and 7 rebounds
