35-year old center Maki Takada (185-C-1989) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Denso Iris and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
She had the game-high 32 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Denso I. in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Toyota A. (#5, 8-14) 84-81. Denso I. maintains the 2nd position in Japanese WJBL. They are still close to the very top. Denso I. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 18-4 record. In the team's last game Takada had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Denso I., through which she has constantly improved. Takada has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 14.4ppg) and averages solid 53.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Izoje Uche (188-C-2004) of Chanson V-Magic. She is Nigerian center in her 3rd season at Chanson V-M. In the last game Uche recorded an impressive double-double of 19 points and 19 rebounds. Of course Chanson V-M cruised to a 70-62 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Aishin AW (#6, 8-15). This victory allowed Chanson V-M to move up to 3rd position in the standings. Her team's 13-9 record is not bad at all. Uche is one of the most experienced players at Chanson V-M and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.7ppg (#1). She also registered 10.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mai Yamamoto (163-PG-1999) of Toyota Antelopes (#5). Yamamoto scored 29 points. Despite Yamamoto's great performance the Toyota A. lost 81-84 to the higher-ranked Denso I. (#2, 18-4). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Toyota A. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 14 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Yamamoto could try to bring Toyota A.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Yamamoto has a very solid season. In 14 games in Japan she scored 11.7ppg.
