They outrebounded Denso I. 46-31 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fujitsu RW looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Denso I.'s players. Nigerian center Mfon Joshua (190-1999) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field).
