Best players of Japanese WJBL round 4

Saori Miyazaki

International Shooting guard Saori Miyazaki (167-SG-1995) had a great game in the last round for Eneos Sunflowers and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 29-year old shooting guard had the game-high 30 points adding four rebounds and four assists for Eneos S. in her team's victory, helping them to beat Hitachi Cougars (#7, 0-8), the league's bottom-ranked team 106-96. Eneos S. maintains the 3rd position in Japanese WJBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Eneos S. will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Miyazaki had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. She has many years of experience at Eneos S., through which she has constantly improved. Miyazaki has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 6.4apg) and averages solid 56.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international power forward Sakura Noguchi (181-PF-2001) of Aishin AW Wings. Noguchi impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds. It was enough for Aishin AW to edge slightly higher-ranked Chanson V-M (#4, 4-4) by 4 points 82-78. Despite this victory Aishin AW slide down in the standings to 6th position. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Noguchi is well-known by Aishin AW fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Yurika Sato (176-PF-1998) of Chanson V-Magic (#4). Sato scored 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. She was a key player of Chanson V-M, leading her team to a 71-68 win against slightly lower-ranked Aishin AW (#6, 4-5). Chanson V-M needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Sato has a great season in Japan. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.8ppg (6th best).
