The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Fujitsu RW (5-1) in Kashiwa on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Eneos S. (3-2) 85-73. Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Fujitsu RW's 20. They outrebounded Fujitsu RW 50-33 including 22 on the offensive glass. Eneos S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for center Okoe Mominoka (182-1999) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Moeko Nagaoka (183-1993) helped adding 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Rui Machida (162-1993) with 16 points and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Eneos S. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
