26-year old American guard Chaundee Brown Jr. (195-G-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Kobe Storks and receives a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 33 points adding seven rebounds and five assists for Kobe S. in his team's victory, helping them to crush Toyama G. (1-1) with 18-point margin 99-81. Storks is placed at 4th position in Japanese B2 League. Kobe S. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Brown Jr. had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Storks's top player in his first season with the team. University of Michigan graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown Jr. is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.5ppg. Brown Jr. is in league's top in and averages solid 66.7% FGP and 66.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Joshua Smith (210-C-1992) of Fukuoka Rizing. He is American center in his first season at Fukuoka R.. In the last game Smith recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Rizing lost that game 72-79 to Kagoshima (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Smith is a newcomer at Fukuoka R. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.5ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 11.5rpg and 3.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Trey Porter (210-F-1996) of league's second-best Altiri Chiba. Porter showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Chiba, leading his team to a 107-85 easy win against Kumamoto V. (#7, 0-2). Chiba has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Porter also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Porter has a great season in Japan. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.5rpg (7th best).
