Nigerian Center Izoje Uche (188-C-2004) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Chanson V-Magic, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 23.
The 19-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 22 rebounds, while her team edged out Toyota A. (#4, 20-3) 77-75. Chanson V-M maintains the 5th position in Japanese WJBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Chanson V-M will need more victories to improve their 17-6 record. In the team's last game Uche had a remarkable 59.1% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Chanson V-M and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Izoje Uche has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.1ppg) and averages impressive 2.4bpg and 68.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-F/C-1991) of league's second-best Eneos Sunflowers. Tokashiki had a very good evening with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Eneos S. cruised to a 81-69 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Denso I. (#3, 20-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Eneos S. consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team lost just three games this season, while they won 21 matches. Tokashiki is one of the most experienced players at Eneos S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#1). She also registered 10.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Yuki Miyazawa (183-F-1993) of league's top team Fujitsu Red Wave. Miyazawa showcased her all-around game by recording 16 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Fujitsu RW, leading her team to a 72-48 easy win against the lower-ranked Toyota BSR (#6, 13-11). Fujitsu RW confirms their top position in the standings.
