It was a great shooting night for Fujitsu RW especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Nigerian center Joshuana von Novon (190-1999) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. WJBL top team - Toyota A. (10-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Haneda V. (2-9) in Nagoya 84-53. It was a quality performance for the former international point guard Shiori Yasuma (161-1994) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Kiho Miyashita accounted for 12 points and 6 steals. Guard Yuriko Tsumura (172-1995) came up with 12 points for Haneda V. in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Toyota A. have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Haneda V. lost fourth consecutive game. 14th ranked Niigata R. (1-10) was outscored at home by fourth ranked Denso I. (9-1) with the biggest margin this round 98-43 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was Maki Takada who scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Miyu Kawamura produced 10 points for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Denso I. moved-up to third place.
