Shinshu fired past Shimane to sweep the series. Shinshu BW players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Kaito Ishikawa (188-90) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) chipped in 21 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Kumamoto overcame Gunma to force the decider. Kumamoto V. outrebounded Gunma 56-27 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Takumi Furuno (179-93) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) replied with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Gunma. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
