There were just 9 rounds played in Regular Season of B League D3 and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Aisin AW (1-1) in Aichi on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (8-6) 87-72. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Tokyo Cinq R. shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. It was a good game for Atsushi Nogami (184-86) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Deangelo Kirkland (203-89, college: Columbus St., agency: Interperformances) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds for Aisin AW. Aisin AW's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tokyo Cinq R. maintains third place with 8-6 record having five points less than leader Koshigaya A. Aisin AW at the other side dropped to the ninth position with one game lost. Tokyo Cinq R. are looking forward to face Toyoda Gosei (#8) in Aichi in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Aisin AW will play at home against the league's second-placed Tokyo Excel. and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
An interesting game for Koshigaya A. (13-1) which played road game in Saitama against 4th placed Saitama Broncos (5-9). Second ranked Koshigaya A. had an easy win 94-71.
