ROSCO ALLEN

Hungarian Rosco Allen (208-PF-93, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Shimane SM and that's him to receive a Interperformances B2 League Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 25-year old power forward had a double-double of 25 points and ten rebounds, while his team beat Fukushima (#6, 4-9) 85-75. Shimane SM maintains the 3rd position in their group in Japanese B2 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Shimane SM will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. In the team's last game Allen had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Shimane SM's top player in his first season with the team. Rosco Allen averages this season 20.0ppg, 9.6rpg and 6.2apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old American center Will Creekmore (205-C-89) of Tokyo Z. Creekmore impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Tokyo Z lost that game 79-87 to slightly higher-ranked Kumamoto V. (#2, 10-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Central. Tokyo Z still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 8-5 record is not bad at all. Creekmore is a newcomer at Tokyo Z and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.7ppg (#8). His other stats are also decent: 9.5rpg and 3.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was Dutch Josh Duinker (209-F/C-89) of second-ranked Kumamoto V.. Duinker showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Kumamoto V., leading his team to a 87-79 win against #3 ranked Tokyo Z. Kumamoto V. needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Central. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 3 lost games. Duinker has a very solid season. In 11 games in Japan he scored 18.7ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Julius Jucikas (205-C/F-89) of Aomori Watts - 22 points and 14 rebounds
5. Garrett Stutz (214-C-90) of Toyotsu FE - 18 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Will Hanley (201-G/F-90) of Yamagata - 24 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Alex Jones (206-F/C-87) of Tokyo HT - 21 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Josh Hawkinson (208-F-95) of Toyotsu FE - 29 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Jeffrey Parmer (203-F-85) of Bambitious Nara - 24 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Scootie Randall (198-F-90) of Cyberdyne IR - 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Interperformances. Interperformances is a full-service agency specializing in the representation of professional athletes the world-over. Jets win Emperor's Cup in overtime thriller - 2 days ago
Diminutive star Yuki Togashi (170-PG-93) ended the nail-biting, seesaw game with a clutch shot. With just seconds remaining, the point guard put his Chiba Jets ahead with a 3-pointer in their 71-69 overtime win over the Tochigi Brex in Sunday's All-Japan Championship final at Saitama Super Arena. The Jets completed an Emperor's Cup three-peat with the dramatic win, while the Brex failed to earn their first title in the annual tournament.
