JAVON MCCREA

Yokohama B-Corsairs (B League) agreed terms with 25-year old American forward Javon McCrea (201-113kg-92, college: Buffalo). He played last summer at Aguada in Puerto Rican BSN league. McCrea managed to play in three leagues last year. The last season he played at Walter Tigers (BBL) in league where in 10 games he had 11.2ppg and 4.7rpg. McCrea also played for BBC Bayreuth (BBL) in league. In 5 games he recorded 3.4ppg and 2.0rpg. He also played 4 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged just 2.0ppg and 1.5rpg. McCrea also spent pre-season at Telenet BC Oostende in Belgian Euromillions League. He helped them to win the Supercup.
McCrea has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com German Bundesliga All-Newcomers Team back in 2015.
McCrea is quite experienced player. He has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). McCrea has played previously professionally also in France (Sluc Nancy), Israel (Maccabi Rishon) and Belgium (Spirou Charleroi).
He attended University of Buffalo until 2014 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
