WAYNE MARSHALL

Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano (B2 League) tabbed 32-year old American center Wayne Marshall (211-124kg-86, college: Temple). It is actually his comeback to Nagano as he has played here before. Marshall is a well-known player in Japanese B2 League where he played most recently at Kanazawa Samuraiz in the B2 League. In 52 games he averaged 12.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.5bpg last season.
The previous (16-17) season Marshall played at Shimane Magic (B). In 62 games he had 11.5ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.4apg and 1.5bpg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final.
Marshall has played also professionally in Canada (BC Titans), PBL (Lawton Ft.SC) and Japan (Osaka Evessa and Yokohama B-Corsairs).
He attended Temple University until 2006 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Marshall's outlook: Wayne is a strong physical presence on the inside that can score around the basket and he has a soft 15ft shot. He is a rebounder and shot blocker that changes the game on defense. His condition is the difference with him play overseas or NBA and he is committed to working on it. He is a young center with loads of potential.
