Scott
Morrison
San-en NeoPhoenix (B1 League) inked 31-year old Canadian ex-international center Scott Morrison (213-102kg-86, college: Portland State) from Akita Northern Happinets. In 60 B League games in Japan he averaged 9.9ppg and 5.7rpg last season.
Among other achievements Morrison played in the final of Japanese BJ League Eastern Division in 2016. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Estonian League Center of the Year award back in 2010.
Morrison was a member of Canadian international program for some years. He was called to Canadian Senior National Team back in 2009 and previously for University National Team in 2007.
Morrison is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). Morrison has played previously professionally also in Australia (United), Germany (Eisbaeren Bremerhaven), Hungary, Poland (Anwil and Czarni) and Ukraine (Polit-Halychyna).
He attended Portland State until 2008 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
Morrison's game is described as: Scott has great size for a freshman and he can really run. He brings a good understanding of the game. A skilled and agile player for his size.
