Shiga Lakestars swept Koshigaya to lift B2 League trophy. Lakestars dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Alphas' 42. Lakestars looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Justin Burrell (204-1988, college: St.John's) who scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. American swingman LJ Peak (196-1996, college: Georgetown, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and point guard Shun Matsuyama (175-1996) added 24 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Chiba Jets held off Yamagata to step onto the pedestal. Chiba dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Wyverns' 34. They outrebounded Wyverns 39-22 including a 27-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Chiba players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American Brandon Ashley (206-1994, college: Arizona) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import center Dererk Pardon (203-1996, college: Northwestern) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Australian point guard Kazuma Okajima (171-2003) replied with 13 points and 6 assists and American James Bell (196-1992, college: Villanova, agency: Slash Sports) added 8 points and 7 assists in the effort for Wyverns. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
