JBL Canceled the rest of all match in 2010-2012 season - Mar 17, 2011

On March 15, JBL officially announced that they league would cancel all the rest of all match because of damage of powerful earthquake in north-east part of Japan.

About returning ticket cost it is to be decided and announced later.

Situation in north-east part of Japan is very bad as many media report that. People in Japan and from the world is already supporting people in the damaged area.
Nuclear electric power plant in the area is seriously damaged

About life in Tokyo, we are spending life safe but we feel small earthquake.
Because of damage of electric power plant, supply of electric power is limited and stop as announced by electric power company.
All light of gym stops in that case even if they are having official match.


JBL All-Star game

West outscores East in Gunma All Star Game 117:114. Trailing 30-40 after the opening quarter, West produced a 33-20 in the second frame to take the lead at the halftime. East responded with 33-31 in the third quarter, while West won the last stanza 23-21. Ron Hale (203-F-77, college: Florida St.) erupted with 32 points to lead all the winners. Takeuti Hiroshi Keisuke and Shingo Kajiyama netted 16 each and Charles O'Bannon posted 15. Takuya Kawamura (193-G-86) responded with 26 points for East and Takehiko Orimo (190-G-70) added 24.


Aishin wins Emperor's Cup 2011!

Aishin wins Emperor's Cup 2011 as the team needed overtimes in Semifinal and Final clashes.
In the Semifinals Aishin overcame Hitachi 67:60 in overtime. Trailing 6:19 after the first period, Aishin won the rest of the game and advanced to the Final. In another Semifinal Panasonic edged Toyota 79:76. Trailing 12-13 after the first quarter, Panasonic produced 30-20 in the last frame.
In the Final game needed another overtime to prove the superiority and luck! Aishin won the first frame 21-11 and then Panasonic replied with 18-17 in the second frame. Moreover the latter won the third and the last quarters to tie the game. Due to 11-4 Aishin celebrated another title! J.R. Sakuragi (206-C-76, college: UCLA) stepped up with 21 points and 15 rebounds for the winners, while Ryan Forehan-Kelly (197-F/G-80, college: California) added 16. Hiroyuki Kinoshita (178-G-80) responded with 17 points in the losing effort.
