Superleague top team - Al-Difaa (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Amal Nineveh (3-7) 116-61. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-1 record, which they share with Zakho. Amal Nineveh lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Al Kahraba and Al Yaqdhah.

The game in Baghdad was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Al-Jameaa (4-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Al Kahraba (3-7). Al-Jameaa defeated Al Kahraba 56-43 on Monday. Newly promoted Al-Jameaa maintains sixth place with 4-5 record, which they share with Al Hilla. Al Kahraba at the other side keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Al Yaqdhah and Amal Nineveh. Al-Jameaa will meet higher ranked Naft Missan (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Al Kahraba's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Baghdad to the arena Al-Hashd.

Zakho destroyed Ghaz Al-Shamal at home 91-57.
