Al Wehdat lands coach Antonios Doukas

Antonios Doukas

Al Wehdat Amman (Premier League) hired 53-year-old Greek coach Antonios Doukas. He most recently coached at Al Kahraba in the Iraqi league.

Thanks to pro basketball, he has experienced life in eight different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, and of course North American leagues. Doukas has coached previously in Bulgaria, China, Georgia (Margveti), Greece (Panorama), Spain, Switzerland (Starwings), and the United Arab Emirates (Baniyas).

His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season of the Georgian A League in 2020.
