Dijlah signs King for Iraqi Finals

Dijlah University (Superleague) signed 31-year old USA ex-international 198cm swingman George King (college: Colorado, agency: Slash Sports) to play the Iraqi Finals 202
In 2018 he was drafted by Phoenix Suns (NBA) in second round (59th overall). He graduated from University of Colorado and it is his seventh season in pro basketball. He was a member of USA Senior National Team in 2022.
King is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to twelve different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and of course North America). King has played previously professionally in Australia (Hawks), Germany (Chemnitz), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Italy (Dolomiti Trentino), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Philippines (Bossing), Poland (Zastal), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and LA Clippers), Egypt (Al Ittihad Alexandria), NBA G League (NAZ Suns and San Diego Clippers), The Basketball Tournament (Team Colorado) and NBA Summer League (Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers). He was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Commissioner's Cup Honorable Mention in 2025.
His team made it to the NBA G League Semifinals in 2022.
