Al Shurtah - Al-Difaa 88-95

Al-Difaa players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and international power forward Ihab Al-Zuhairi (210-1998) supported him with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 23 points and 9 rebounds by American forward Antwaine Wiggins (203-1988, college: Charleston) did not help to save the game for Al Shurtah. His fellow American import guard Jared Cunningham (194-1991, college: Oregon St., agency: BIG) added 21 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals for the hosts. Five Al-Difaa and four Al Shurtah players scored in double figures.

Al Karkh - Dijlah 73-65

Al Karkh forced 25 Dijlah turnovers. American forward Levi Bradley (201-1996, college: NIU) scored 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Hussein Almurshedi chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Bradley is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Abdullah Alibrahimi responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and American guard Shane Gibson (188-1990, college: Sacred Heart) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dijlah's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
