Al-Difaa - Al Shurtah 84-76

International power forward Ihab Al-Zuhairi (210-1998) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 20 rebounds for the winners and American guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. At the losing side Rekan Abdulla responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American James Justice (178-1989, college: UT Southern) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Al-Difaa and four Al Shurtah players scored in double figures.

Dijlah - Al Karkh 87-64

Dijlah dominated down low during the game scoring 36 of its points in the paint compared to Al Karkh's 16. Dijlah players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American guard Shane Gibson (188-1990, college: Sacred Heart) nailed 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Gerard Tarin (206-1996, college: Nova SE) accounted for 16 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Tarin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Dijlah players scored in double figures. Dijlah's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Levi Bradley (201-1996, college: NIU) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Fareed Mahdi added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Al Karkh in the defeat.
