The most of last season he spent at Skygunners in South Korean KBL where in 16 games he had 6.7ppg and 2.1rpg. He also played for Painters (PBA) in Filipino league. In 2009 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in second round (35th overall). The former Georgetown University star is in his 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball. Summers is quite experienced player. He has played in seventeen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Summers has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), France (Metropolitans), Iran (Mahram), Italy, Japan (Magic), Korea (Knights), Lebanon (Homentmen), Philippines, Puerto Rico (Indios), Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad), Spain (Gran Canaria), Taiwan (Kings), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka and Galatasaray), Ukraine (Budivelnyk), NBA (LA Clippers and NY Knicks), NBA G League (Westchester Knicks) and Big3 (Ball Hogs and Tri-State). Summers' team made it to the Dominican Republic TBS League Semifinals in 2024. Among many awards he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague 1st Team in 2022. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Air Defence Sporting Club. Tags : DAJUAN SUMMERS, AIR DEFENCE SPORTING CLUB, IRAQI BASKETBALL, IRAQI TRANSACTIONS |
