Ali Haidar comes back to Al-Hashd, ex Beirut Club- November 26, 2024

Haidar represented Lebanon at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Valencia (Spain) this year. During this event he scored an average of 6.7 points per game and had 3.3 rebounds per game. He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America) in eight different countries. Haidar has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Manama), Canada (Rattlers), Jordan (Al Wihdat), Lebanon (Al Riyadi, Champville and Dynamo), Qatar (Al Gharafa), Slovenia (Sencur Gorenjska Kranj), Syria (Al Karameh) and Libya (Al Nasr). Among many awards he won Jordanian League championship title in 2020. He was also selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League Import Player of the Year back in 2021. Haidar graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2013 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
