Deandre Liggins (ex Al Ahli) is a newcomer at Dijlah- October 15, 2024
In 2011 he was drafted by Orlando Magic (NBA) in second round (53rd overall). He graduated from University of Kentucky and it will be his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball. Liggins was a member of USA Senior National Team back in 2018. He is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in twelve different countries. Liggins has played previously professionally in Germany (Eisbaeren Bremerhaven), Greece (Panionios and Kolossos H Hotels Rodou), Mexico (Libertadores), Russia (Krasny Oktyabr), Spain (Fuenlabrada), Taiwan (Kings), United Kingdom (Lions), Uruguay (Penarol), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce) and The Basketball Tournament (Heartfire). Among many awards he won Saudi Arabia League championship title in 2023. He was selected to Eurobasket.com British BBL All-Defensive Team back in 2021.
