Sabis ink Destiny Samuel, ex Flamurtari

Sabis Sporting Club (1 League) agreed terms with American forward Destiny Samuel (188cm, college: USA) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. She is the second foreign player in the roster as Jamaican Antoinette Bannister signed here earlier. She played last season at Flamurtari in Albania Superliga. In 16 games, she had 8.1ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.9apg, and 1.4spg. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. She also played 7 games in Liga Unike where she recorded 9.3ppg and 6.1rpg. The previous (2022-23) season she played at Lions in the U.S. semi-pro league NCAA.
Samuel graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2022 and it will be her third season as a professional player. She played for other colleges such as Binghamton University and Temple University.
