Dijlah University (Superleague) tabbed 30-year old American 203cm forward Jordan Washington (college: Iona, agency: Interperformances). Washington joins another USA player Kenny Hayes who is already in the roster.
He started the season at Ahly Tripoli in Libyan D1 league.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. Washington has played previously professionally in Greece (Rethymno), Israel (Maccabi Hod Hasharon), Mexico (Tijuana Zonkeys and Abejas), Qatar (Qatar Club), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli, Ohod and Al Nahda), Canada (Halifax Hurricanes) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Gibson). He won NJCAA D1 Region XI championship title in 2014 and 2015 and the cup in 2016 and 2017.
Among many awards he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Honorable Mention in 2023.
Washington graduated from Iona College in 2017 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball. He played also for Indian Hills Community College for 2 years.
