Superleague Round 25 (Regular Season): Al-Difaa defeat Al Shurtah in the closest game of the week

However their fans expected easier game. Al-Difaa have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Al-Difaa maintains first place with 16-2 record. Al Shurtah at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Al Karkh.
The game in Baghdad was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Al Karkh (11-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Dijlah (9-7). Al Karkh defeated Dijlah 89-74. Al Karkh moved-up to third place, which they share with Al Shurtah. Dijlah at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost.

In the last game of round 25 Zakho won against Al Hilla on the opponent's court 70-66.



Al Hilla - Zakho 66-70

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Al Hilla (6-9) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Zakho (5-11) 70-66. Zakho maintains ninth place with 5-11 record. Al Hilla at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost.
