Al Kahraba inks Ahmad Alhamarsheh, ex Orthodox

Ahmad Alhamarsheh

Al Kahraba Electricity (Superleague) signed experienced 36-year old Jordanian international forward Ahmad Alhamarsheh (197cm-93kg-1987). He was top rebounder at Orthodox in Jordanian Premier League. In 21 games he had 13.5ppg, 9.2rpg, 4.5apg and 1.2spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. 2022-23 was a great year as he was named to Asia-Basket.com Jordanian Premier League All-Domestic Players Team. He also played 8 games in West Asia Super League where he recorded 9.1ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at another Jordanian team Al Ahli (Premier League).
He has been also a member of the Jordanian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Jordanian senior team since 2010 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2008.
He also represented Jordan at the Asian Games in Huangzhou (China) last year. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 4.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.2apg, 1.2spg.
He has played previously professionally also in Jordan (Al Wihdat, Al Riyadi, Zain, Kofer Yoba and ASU Sports Club) and Jordan.
Among many awards he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Domestic Rebounder of the Year in 2022.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Al Kahraba.
