Nift Al-Shamal inks Ashraf Al-Hendi, ex Orthodox

Nift Al-Shamal (Superleague) has reached an agreement with Ashraf Al-Hendi, a 28-year-old Jordanian international guard who stands at 190cm and was born in 1995.

Last season, he played for Orthodox in the Jordanian Premier League, where he averaged 12.0 points per game, 4.1 rpg, 1.6 apg, and 1.2 spg in 22 games.

He played a crucial role in helping his team win the cup and reach the league final, earning him the title of League Player of the Week. Additionally, he participated in 9 games in the West Asia Super League, where he averaged 7.4 ppg, 2.3 rpg, and 1.2 spg. In the previous summer of 2022, he played for another Jordanian team, Al Wihdat, in the Premier League.

He also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta, Indonesia, last year. His team reached the semifinals, and his statistics for that event were as follows: 6 games played, averaging 1.7 points per game.

He's a highly experienced player.
